Who wants every movie ever made on blu

This is always at the top of my list when people post "What would you like to see" threads.

Definitely Conan.

Destroyer didn't grow with me, but I loved it as a kid and I would definitely buy it in Blu if it came out.

Let's think for a second about Thulsa Doom's quest for self destruction.

One day he decides to lead a raiding party on a quest for steel.

In doing so, he meets a young boy named Conan and asks himself a question:
"How...by SET HOW can I truly pi$$ this boy off."

So he:
1. burns his village
2. kills most of his friends.
3. Kills his pets!!!
4. Murders his dad.
5. Beheads his mom...WHILE he's holding her hand.
6. Most likely raped the barnyard animals
7. Takes his father's sword!!! (you would think that would be enough...no...we are not finished.)
8. Straps him and some of the neighborhood kids to a grinding wheel and makes him walk around in a circle for YEARS.
9. Sells him off to a pitfighting group where he is forced to engage in brutal combat and unspeakable acts of desperate passion....with men and then bread like cattle to women.

The years go on and Conan is now pretty pi$$ed and gets his woman involved with the revenge but she is calming him down a little bit.

10. Conan messes up a raid and gets NAILED to a tree and fed on by vultures!!! (are you f'n kidding me)

Just when we reach the pinnacle of pi$$ed-off-ed-ness:
11. Thulsa Doom Kills Conan's woman.

Conan is now beyond pi$$ed.

Now THAT was character development!!!

could this movie have a broader audience if it wasn't so "controversial"? I mean all the sexual content?
this needs to be recognised as a classic...
I don'y understand why more people are voting, do they actually write it off as tastesless garbage?

I really like the Conan movies, as well as Red Sonja. The musical score on Conan the Barbarian is outstanding.

As long as they did a good job with the transfer and the sound, this would be a

I just finished re-watching this movie last night on DVD. One of my favorite movies of all time. I can't wait for the blu-ray release.

Any word of who is slated for the lead in the remake?
I hear its schedule for a 2010 release. Just curious.

[A remake of Conan the Barbarian is in the works, with Boaz Yakin writing and possibly directing the project. The film will not star Arnold Schwarzenegger – the current governor of California. With screenplays like The Punisher (the 1989 version, From Dusk Till Dawn 2, and Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights under his belt, Yakin doesn’t have a very good track record, so let’s keep our fingers crossed.]

Also, it's not too late for Universal to announce it for an August release as well, which is when the reboot comes out. Or at least, that's what I keep telling myself.
