Default Where are the best online stores to buy Blu-ray Discs?

And why doesn't amazon list Blu-ray as a separate category, as they do VHS and DVD?

(Why do they put Blu-ray under the DVD heading??!!)

Aside from amazon, there is also buy.com, walmart.com, frys.com, and costco and samsclub.com. I'm sure there are others, but these were off the top of my head. Welcome to the forum.

All around amazon is the best site from which to buy Blu-ray's. They offer the cheapest prices, the best selection, and free shipping.

Walmart.com is fairly cheap and npw they offer site to store. It's free, and they send e-mails and will call you when it comes in for pick up. The one I work at gets quite a few of these.

amazon lists HD DVD and BD the same way, that is, as a subcategory of DVD.

I buy most of my stuff from dvdempire.com and amazon.com. Those are the cheapest places for me.

As a european blu-ray fan I've been getting all the latest releases from movietyme.com - they'll probably be too dear for American users compared to amazon but for Euro users they're great. The last movie I ordered was sent from the USA to Dublin, Ireland in 4 business days and they have a nice loophole where they ship your order into the UK first, then forward it on to your house so you avoid import duty

Default I have found there is no "one" place.

While Deep Discount DVD seems to consistently get my money over 3/4 of the time. I have found that there is no "one" place for "cheap" DVD's (High Def or standard). That is why I check DVD Price Search (www.dvdpricesearch.com) before buying.

What I mean is, there is a DVD dropdown box where you can type in a title, then it will take you to the product. This lets you know if the title is now available, projected to come out, or if it is out-of-print but available used. No such system for Blu-ray specifically. You must search through all the DVD listings to find the specific title in Blu-ray, or else brouse through the Blu-ray section. - Correct me please if I am mistaken :-)
