i am also interested on the quality of this movie. I enjoyed this movie, and so I am thinking of adding it to my Blu Ray collection, but it would be nice to know exactly how the quality is, because I ve also heard negative things about it.

I just watched it 5 mins ago on blu for the first time. The picture was great and so was the sound. Its not one of the flagship titles but it is really good.

It has its flawed moments. But the film is a great HD buy.

I'd get it for $15. The score is worth that. I love the music in this movie, too bad I can't say the same for the movie itself. As for the picture quality, it's deffinately an improvement over the DVD, however it's not great. And the sound design kind of sucks for the movie. I blame it on the fact that it's the Director's Cut so the scenes don't really come together very well. Also the score keeps repeating in the final battle which bugged the crap out of me. It's basically on a loop...

Ok, so after re-watching that absolutely terrible battle scene at the end of the movie, I am not sure it's worth $15 now. If you watch the extras fighting in the background, it's just rediculously bad. They don't even come close to looking like they're in a battle. It's beyond pathetic.

It was an earlier blu-ray. It will become remastered.

Will they digitally remove the extras from the battle scenes and the random short shots of people yelling?
