Who here plans on watching them? Does anyone have no desire to?

Star at 8 pm on ABC, won't be watching it tonight, finish too darn late. I will DVR the whole thing and watch it tomorrow removing breaks, speeches and anything else I don't want to watch.

I think everyone will say they are. But the pre show starts ridiculously early and I believe the actual show starts at 8 EST/5 PST.

I will watch them. With friends in the movie business, we all watch and discuss, debate, and argue results for some of the categories. The Oscars also helps me see some clips and generate interest for smaller releases and may or may not want me to see them. Also like above, there is nothing else on Sundays...

Feel pretty confident about my ballot, but with the oscars... who knows how it will go.

I want to see if the mediocrity of the nominated works will translate into an even more mediocre show than usual...

And I will definitely be watching them. This is the first year that I have seen almost all of the nominated movies so it will be fun to watch who wins what and I can definitely give my thoughts on each

I won't watch the whole thing, but I'll tivo it and fastforward as needed, I don't care to hear everyone's boring speeches and what people have to say, I just want to know what wins.
