Awesome news if true, I love this show, but I'm skeptical since it's an Amazon seller listing it. Especially since it's not on Mill Creek's site. Though the Walmart listing is more legit right? Don't they let third party sellers do listings on their site?

Edit: Says shipped and sold by Walmart so it looks more legitimate.

I’m thinking maybe it’s somehow a Walmart exclusive bu that Amazon seller has also somehow managed to get their hands on some stock. Pretty odd

I only contacted Mill Creek, couldn’t find an way way to contact Walmart.

Yeah considering how poor the final season was, about $50 feels right to me.

Why has Cheers! not been released on Blu yet? Were DVD sales so poor for it not to happen? It was shot on ‘Film’, right? I’ve seen HD showings as far back as 2012.

So I contacted Washington Blvd Sales, the third party vendor listed on the Amazon webpage for this Blu-ray:

And asked them if this blu-ray release was legit as i went on the Mills Creek website and they were only listing it as a DVD release:

This is what they wrote back:

"Yes this set is made by mill-creek, and we are the exclusive retailer for blu ray, which is why it may not be on their website just yet. we get it direct from them, it ships around oct 15th

Thank you"

So, I guess we'll have to see if who's telling the truth...stay tuned.

Sounds like the first batch of VHS retro slipcovers which were Walmart exclusives on first release.

Who is "Washington Blvd Sales" and how would they somehow get exclusive rights to a blu-ray release? That sounds fishy as hell.
