While street dates are commonly broken in North America or places like Dubai, it much less common in Japan. What is bothering some Japanese gamers about this broken street date is only the Xbox 360 version went on sale early.

Add in the fact that not only the Xbox 360 version went on sale first at Bic Camera, but also the red controller, and some believe that Microsoft was behind this "false start".

One day ahead, does that really make any difference ? I sometimes can get games up to 3 days ahead of release day at a store I know. It's just nice to have your game a little ahead but no big deal methinks.

I'm still not buying a 360

Nobody in Japan gives a ass rats about the Xbox 360... It could have been 1/2 the price and a week early; wouldn't have changed anyones mind over there about buying it over the PS3 version...

Not like it will make a difference. All that will happen is Bic Camera will face questions from Capcom as to why their street date was broken. Not only that, new games in Japan tend to launch on a Thursday, so most people go to the store looking for their new release on Thursday rather than browse like we do.
