Oh I saw it in shops today, a cardboard edition just like JCVD and MR73.

Hey, can anyone confirm if this will load properly on a U.S. PS3 with the latest firmware? Does it have any PAL or 50i content prior to the menu?

Wuuld greatly appreciate info on this, as Crimson Rivers is one of my all time favorite films and I would love to throw away the edge enhanced to death DVD in favor of glorious HD.

Hello Matt,

If I recall correctly, there is no PAL content on the disc that would prevent you from playing it on your Region-A PS3.

That sounds like good news to me. This movie is likely Jean Reno's best since LEON.

Order just placed for it (as well as BOUND).

My BD will no longer play and none of my players recognise it as a disc.

Anyone else experience this?

It's a known problem with that disc (and with that manufacturer: QOL), see:

Thanks, I assume you just have to rebuy another copy and Gaumont is not offering replacements?

I get this version Gaumont release blu-ray and Universum Film. Universum with 1080p 24fps VC-1 is better way because, not have green filter.
I see in release Gaumont light all green in picture.
