Greetings Earth creatures! i'm new to this site but have been collecting blu-rays for almost two years now. i look forward to making new friends and participating in many interesting discussions about hi-def movies as blu-ray continues to take over the world...

If you have been lurking for two years you must have great self restraint. Are you into music or just movies on Blu-ray?

i haven't really gone hi-def with music yet. still listen to my cds on a regular sound system. i'm a fan of metal from the 80's, early 90's: Iron Maiden, Slayer, Helmet, Obitary, Bolt Thrower...What about you?

I don't really have my dream setup just yet. i have a 38' Sylvania and i watch blu-rays with a PS3. No sound system to speak of just yet but i'm looking to get something that supports 7.1 audio. Also looking to replace that Sylvania with a bigger Sony or Vizio.

I have about 150 blu-rays so far and counting. Alot of it is horror and sci-fi, but i'm a big movie buff so there's a lot of other stuff too. Well yoxodo you have certainly joined the right board. The guys here are very helpful when other members are getting ready to purchase a new TV and Audio set-up. There are a lot of great stickies with excellent information, so be sure to look at some of those when you're ready.

Although we have our own Plasma or LCD fanboys, that word is actually a bit of a misnomer since we're just glad, whatever you buy, that you got into the game. So ask away, participate and voice your opinion!
