For those of you interested in reading Watchmen, Costco now has it for $11 and change versus the $20 cover price. Great price for those of you who are members.

This is a definite must read. It also makes the movie better (IMO) if you read this before seeing the movie.

Damn thats a good price I paid book cover for my copy but I have had it awhile now. Better then the movie but I really did enjoy both.

That's how I got it. I ordered it Friday night after I saw the movie at like 8PM PST -- I got it on Monday afternoon before the payment for it had even cleared my bank!

Usually reading the book makes me want to see the movie, but also makes the movie a disappointment. Is it the same with this?

The book, and the movie, are kept extraordinarily close (though there are some things missing to time constraints).

I have seen very few who have read the book who complained about how the movie was handled.

In fact, it's one of the "criticisms" of the movie; too little was changed from the original source. No imagination. So forth and so on...

If you like the book, you're probably going to love the movie.
