Default quick ? about onkyo 605/606

ive currently got the onkyo 605 and plan on upgrading to something else. i would like to use the 605 in my bedroom but dont have the money to upgrade my speakers at the moment. so i plan on using my current speakers with the new receiver and using my computer speakers with the 605.
this is the setup i have in my bedroom right now:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16836116143
would there be a way to combine the two systems together until i can afford some new speakers?

Would depend on the ohm/impedence rating. If it's anything other than 6 or 8... no. You could fry a component.

can you give a better blown up picture? As Aramis said, if the ohms check out the speakers will be ok. Not sure on the sub (because I can't see the inputs too well)

I'd say a safe guess would be that the speakers are either 6 or 8 ohm, 4 (atleast used to be...) an exclusive to car audio. But what do I now....

Personally the 605 is a good receiver. You are getting HD sound and 1.3a HDMI. I would begin to invest in some entry level speakers instead of a new receiver. The Polk Direct store on Ebay is a really cost effective way to get an upgrade in your speaker dept. Here is a link to a 6750 Set that retails for 599 and is 99 bucks right now.
