Default Logitech Z-5500 Question...please help!!!!

Hey guys, i have been working on a small ht in my bedroom (much different from my ht gallery), and i am now looking for an inexpensive 5.1 sound system. i found this, http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applicatio...250&CatId=2891
and was wondering if these would produce 5.1 sound with my blu ray player, although these are computer speakers? thanks!

I would highly recommend the z-5500 for great HT on budget...I personly own the Z-680 (which a older version of the Z-5500) and I swap out all the cable to 14 AWG speaker cable and use spade plug and it made a different and very enjoyable sound with my sony bdp-s350. But the Z-5500 you will not be able to use the spade plug but you can use something like this....http://www.speakerrepair.com/Merchan...Code=all_plugs

if you any other question just ask.

I've got some Logitech Z5500 5.1 speakers. They are rated THX & are more than powerful for a small room. They produce nice deep bass & also you can alter the sound by the control unit.

You wouldn't regret buying them, you can see the small satelite speakers above my main system in my sign' webby link.
