Interesting. I don't think Twilight Time was ever able to sell out their Encore edition. There's also a 4K UHD disc being released in Germany:

I'm wondering though how big the demand will be for another blu-ray release considering there are 6000 copies of the Twilight Time blu-ray out there (the original edition and the encore edition), an Arrow blu-ray and an upcoming 4K UHD disc.

What's the difference between the first Twilight limited edition (which I have) and the Encore edition?

The Encore edition includes the original 4-track stereo mix in a 2.0 stereo container rather than a mono mix.

So what we get is a 4 track folded down to two channels,is that right? The Arrow Video BD has a Stereo track in addition to the 5.1 mix, I guess these are the same.

Most 4-track stereo mixes are generally put into a 2.0 container. If you have an audio decoder like Pro Logic then the 4-track mix will be presented as intended (it’s very much like how Dolby-Stereo mixes are done). I don’t own the Arrow but I presume it is the same track.

I’ve had the German 4K UHD Ulitmate box set pre-ordered at DiabolikDVD forever now.

Odd choice since this US released will be the film’s 3rd BLU release.

I have the Arrow edition, but will wait to see what the technical specs and extras are before I decide whether or not to double-dip. The new master from Germany, however, might be the deal breaker!

I've had it pre-ordered forever on Amazon DE, and it looks like the release date is now April 17th there.

I'd perhaps hold off if I knew more about the upcoming Scorpion release, and especially since I already own the Arrow UK Blu-ray... but the German 4K box looks hard to beat.

Twilight Time's operations had come to a halt, plus their 3 year window is up regardless if they sold all 3000 copies

I'm aware of the 4k remaster on the upcoming German UHD, but unless Scorpion can't get access to it for some reason I can't see them creating their own when that's on the horizon, nor reusing the old MGM HD master.
