Any word on how many sets of 3D glasses will come with the title? I hope that they pack at least 3 sets in there.

If it's anything like Journey to the Center of the Earth, there'll be 4 pairs. They usually try to cover a family-size household. Don't expect too much of the 3D though; for JTTCOTE, it looked so bad (screen was mostly all purple with the glasses) that we didn't make it through half the film. Still, Bloody Valentine is an excellent film--with or without 3D. For the time being, TVs aren't capable of rendering 3D in any way that resembles what we see in theatres.

Wait. Hold up. You've seen the remake of The Fly right? You also own The Thing....?

Anyway is the import of The Fog worth it?

I would have to disagree with this. I saw a Japanese system that used LCD shutter glasses and fed video to an ordinary 480i analog CRT TV, and the 3D results were stunning. Basically, each eyes saw a different interlaced field, and the result was full-color 3d with no double visioning (although there was some noticeable flickering).

So good 3D is possible, but everyone needs to agree on a standard and a way to make it work on any display, interlaced or progressive.

I haven't been to a theater in YEARS! I am looking forward to this bloodbath in 3-D.

Can someone confirm this is the unrated edition with the
[Show spoiler] tampon scene?

I enjoyed it. It had the feel of an 80s slasher.

Hey Lionsgate... I want the original on Blu as well.

I tried to emphasize the "3d at theaters" part. The 3d at home could be decent but in theater it was easily the best 3d experience I've ever had.

You didn't see Journey To The Center Of The Earth? I love that movie! (Most people don't.)

Polar Express was good in 3-D as well.

For non-BD 3-D, I recently viewed Friday The 13th 3-D.

I don't mind the cheesy glasses at all.

I was disappointed that Bolt did not include a 3-D version.

Still hoping Beowulf will be reissued in 3-D as well.

Isn't Aliens verse Monsters in IMAX 3-D right now?

And let's not forget: Star Wars is (rumored to be) coming out it in 3-D in the future.
