Kung Fu Panda is an exception to a lineup of movies that have been very inconsistent.

In Pixar consistency IS the rule. Thay are yet to let me down.

I seriously hope Pixar can stop making pretentious BS. It's kind of interesting they make their most lowest-common denominator movie ever (Cars) and then everything after that tries way to hard.

Like they're making up for a sin.

I am a Pixar junkie. But I think Kung Fu Panda and Madagascar2 had plenty of special. Visually and story. IMHO

I actually lol'd.

I never miss a Pixar movie, and I'm always kind of hesitant towards a Dreamworks one. That being said, Dreamworks does have some good ones so I can't really bad mouth them.

Still...just funny as heck. lol

To ME, Shrek are the ONLY movies that compare to Pixar's work, just think Shrek kind of needs to end. 3 was definitely enough, 4 may be pushing it. At least all 3 Shreks were better than Wall-E.

Pixar and Dreamworks have both done great work. Bolt was a great film. Wall*e was killer I mean they equally put out good stuff.

Actually one Shrek was enough, and Walle was better than all the Shreks combined.

Bolt is Disney, not Pixar. Pixar people were involved but it's not a Pixar movie.

I disagree. Wall-E was better then all three of those by far. Sadly Shrek is the only thing good Myers has done in forever.

First Shrek was funny, it was new and a bit different but it went downhill real fast from there. Wall-E put's all 3 Shrek movies in his back pocket, all of Shrek's animators are actualy watching and studying Wall-E and other PIXAR movies so they can learn how to do an animation movie

Didn't mean animation wise, meant story wise. Would rather laugh for an hour and a half watching a Shrek film than watch Wall-E for 2 hours and be bored and depressed at the way it portrays people.

as personal choice then yes I could see why you would prefer to watch Shrek, it's more like Spaceballs just plain fun with the brain on "relax mode"

I just find that Wall-E is probably the summit of animation history. I would be so great if Walt Disney was still around and be able to watch Wall-E, he would just love it. The story, the animation...everything work's in that movie. And how they manage to make you feel for a bunch of robots who hardly talk? BIG THUMBS UP to the animators. As for the way it portrays people, well reality when shoved straight in the face can be brutal

I didn't feel for the robots so that may be why I didn't enjoy the movie anywhere near as much as most people do. To wit, it's the first Pixar movie I've seen that I didn't enjoy, I actually liked the rabbit magic show short before the movie moreso than the movie itself.
