Default What Sony, Fox and Disney should do

(Idea 1) I think if Sony, Fox, and Disney have so much on the line with Blu Ray they should give all there employees Blu Ray players. When I say all I mean it, from the VP of Marketing all the way down to the person who gets Rupert Murdoch his coffee to the Janitor who cleans the washrooms.

(Idea 2) All of these studios should have a form on there website you the consumer fills out telling the studios what non released (no street date) film you would buy in Blu Ray. They could make it a top 10 list and have the form up for six months and then tabulate it. This way the films they did release would all sell like gangbusters.

What they should do is put together a big fat incentives package and get Warner to go Blu exclusive. Fight fire with fire... get down and dirty.

I'm very dissapointed by BDA. the paramount announcement was last monday and still no counter move by BDA. it's better to extinguish the paramount fire now while it's still small. don't want it to get bigger. no?

I hope so because I hate how the hd dvd boys are strutting acting like things are turning for the better for them. and i honestly think that sort of thing turns the tide a little. that's why sony and company have to act soon before more positive hd dvd news gets out more into the mainstream. I really can't see how they didn't have a gut feeling about paramount turning red and being caught off guard with no strategy.
