It's cause they were just put on amazon. They're always high, when it comes closer to release they'll be cheaper.

Amazon usually does 30% off MSRP. Since these were both just added, the % off is not yet correct. Give it about a week or so and both will drop to the correct price.

I figure it will be $29.95 at walmart. Probably will have a special price at Best Buy. I think 30 bucks for a blu I know Im gonna like and keep isnt bad.

I expect it'll be down around 26.99 in June.

It will end up being $26-$28 like all new releases.

As far as B&M's go, I'm starting to see a slow trend of a $25.99 price on certain new titles. Latest examples being Benjamin Button and The Wrestler. They're slowly creeping down a little. Of course, many times a new title is cheaper in week 2 of its release.

I was going to comment on this as well. That price is extremely high, but it will go down, they always do. I'm hoping to at least $25-26.

Do people still not understand MSRP? That's kind of sad.

The (manufacturer's) suggested retail price (MSRP or SRP), list price or recommended retail price (RRP) of a product is the price the manufacturer recommends that the retailer sell it for. The intention was to help to standardize prices among locations. While some stores always sell at, or below, the suggested retail price, others do so only when items are on sale or closeout.

The term is also backronymed to Monroney suggested retail price, after the Monroney sticker which required that the MSRP of new cars be displayed.

$24.99 is the typical 30% off price Amazon usually provides.

It's something of a remake/reboot of the franchise.
