Friday The 13th Remake

I have to say that from all the movie trailers I have seen the remake of Friday The 13th is lookin good. But I thought that about the Fog remake as well. I do know that when it is released on Friday Feb 13th I will go see it or should I wait until it hits Blu Ray? Up in the air on that right now. Same goes for My Bloody Valintine 3D, it looks good but havent seen it. But the Friday remake "looks" good.

Anyone else gonna see it when it comes out?

I had a bad feeling I would be disappointed in The Fog remake. By this remake, if you like the first four Friday the 13th movies, it seems you will like this. Friday the 13th just got bad when they made Jason super human. I will see it on Friday the 13th .

jason is the man. It doesn't matter how they make him in my opinion

I'm not trying to up my expectations. I'm expecting it to only be ok, but I will be there opening night because I'm a big horror fan and I have to see this.

definitely be seeing this at the theater....going to be strange watching Jason actually "run" after people.

Jason did this in parts 2 thru 4.

Except that the Fog was PG-13 and u know what that means with MOST horror movies...

I will see it on the 9th of February and am promoting it right now...SO EXCITED!!!

Yes he did. Watch them over and you will see him run at times. Part 6 thru 10 and FvsJ he power walked after everyone

well with the new one comin' out it seems as good a time as any to watch all of them again. Too bad I can't watch 'em all on Blu.

i would call it a light jog if at all.....in the trailer of the remake, Jason is in a full out sprint ready to slice that girl in half....Jason was never considered fast in any of the movies.....

Ill be seeing the first showing if im off from work that day...hopefully I am....Jason has always been one of my favs....

I think the movie is going to be good for a slasher film, it probably wont be any different then the original films....young college bound kids will have sex and they will die by Jason hands so Im not expecting a movie thats gonna pick up a ton of awards....as long as Jason kills alot of people, im happy

The trailers looked pretty good, creepy vibe to it. I'll probably check it out in theatres.

he didnt become 'superhuman" aka "zombie" jason until part 6, Jason Lives!....2-4 were the "human" years (the years that a gun shot would kill him)....part 5 was Jason-less, 6-X were the birth of "zombie" Jason


id say the worst one is by Far is Jason X....it shouldnt ever have been made, Jason in SPace? This is a prime example that it doesnt take talent to be a movie producer "hey Mike, I got this new script, it has Jason Voorhees in SPace!" "Great Idea Gene! The diehard fans will love it!"......

My fav. is part 4, the Final Chapter....with Part 1 in an almost tie for first.....Part II was well done and part III was decent, just some of the characters came of a little annoying and very clitched......Part 5 was ok but since it wasnt really Jason came off a little lack luster, 6 was the birth of the immortal Jason which was a good plot device to keep bringing him back easier...even though this is were the "reality" factor of the series was lost....now it took the form of fantasy with 7 bringing in a girl with mental mind powers (which actually was probably the best of the zombie jason films, 8 (Manhattan) was attended to be different then what was filmed, it was actually suppose to take entirly in New York but the studio was cheap....so we got this not so good entry....and then Jason was sold to New Line which never brought anything good to the series, JAson goes to Hell was way to far fetched even for the Zombie Jason movies, eating Jasons heart and then becoming Jason?...mmm, ok.....Magical daggars and actually the hands of hell?....now, im lost.....and then the infamous Jason X, or Jason sh*t!....hopefully New Line knows what we want and hopefully redeems themselves with this remake, they couldnt really screw it up worse....but you never know....but the trailer shows promise even though it contains actors that look they are fresh off the runway....at least in the originals, the actors actually looked like ordinary people....

I liked The Texas remakes.

Part 5 was terrible though. First Dudley from Different Strokes was in it. The budget looked like five bucks, and they said they cremated the body of Jason Voorhees. That said, how did they bring him back in the 6th lol

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but I would severely disagree with you Platinum Dunes versions of Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning were awesome re-tellings of the story, if you don't like their work then don't see the movie, I dunno what you expect out of them I mean hacking peoples limbs off, showing a man skinned alive while blood is spewing on his gf, meat hooks to the armpit, etc. I am really thrilled about this movie as all the guys who are making this movie actors included are big fans of Friday the 13th and they want to give the fans what the fans want and they understand what should be added to the movie to make it better than what happened to the original series. If you read Fangoria the one on shelves right now with The Unborn on the cover and read how much effort the director and the writer are putting into this movie to not make it just another cheesy killer movie then I am sure you might be alittle more amped up for this movie. I am not saying that it is going to be the best Friday the 13th we have had but it could be who knows?!!?! Anywho you should go support the Horror Movies coming out this year and in the future because if you show support they will keep trying new things and sooner or later they will come out with something that will be really good. Anywho GO SEE THIS IN THEATERS!
