Default T2 sound problems

I just got the Skynet edition & was very disappointed with the sound quality. I have PS3 & Onkyo Tx-SR806 but audio output is horrible (no bass, sound mostly from front speakers). I've tried just about everything I can think of. The only time I get bass & rear audio is with reciever set to 'multi-channel'. Plenty of bass & shaking but sound is very 'tinny' & harsh. Checked PS3 settings & everything is as it should be (linear PCM, etc.). Tried another movie (Quantum of Solace) & sound was as it should be--magnificent! Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Try exchanging the disc because mine works fine...granted I have a different receiver but if every other movie works fine it's the disc.

Have your pressed select while the movie was playing to see what soundtrack was being used?

I just got my copy, but haven't had a chance to test it out yet.

I tried that the last time I fiddled with the sound. I don't recall if it said DTS-MA or what but it was playing at 4mbps or more.

Yeah that's the DTS HD MA track. It appears to default to that track. I just tested mine out and the sound seems fine. That DTS HD MA trailer in the beginning is badass.

Loved the DTS MA stuff before the movie started--sent a giant 'holy s...' through the house! Then the movie started & so did my disappointment. I'm going to fiddle with it again when the kids go back to school this week.
