Awesome news, I hope they bring out the big guns.

Titles I'd like to see:
Finding Nemo
Toy Story 1+2
Bug's Life
Lion King

Disney owns Miramax, right? I hope Kill Bill 1+2 come out soon.

Hey guys, when you think about this one, you might want to think about some holiday titles...it is getting to Q4.

Thought I would give this link for a list of possibilities:

http://www.disneymovieslist.com/disney-movies.asp <--Supposed to be a complete list of possible Disney only movies.

Might look around a bit...might give us some ideas.

Screw that, all these studios are just talk talk talk... Give me a release date or else keep your mouth shut. Disney is still in the process of releasing Open Range and Crimson Tide... SINCE JANUARY 2007!! Give me a break.

remember platnum hits is released when Disney has felt the format is a standard. that means Disney is fully backing blu-ray...that also means they are going to release all their films on blu-ray. so for Disney along with DVD Blu-ray is the next standard..HD DVD is not.

Disney is on the board of Directors..and as much as the HD DVD fans would like to see it happen. Disney has decided that Blu-ray is that next Standard and not HD DVD. just like VHS vs' Betamax storage is what matters but this time storage and functionality. which HD DVD has but Disney views Blu-Ray and since the CEO from DISNEY did SAY we were there right from the start. even when
HD DVD was also released BLU-RAY was picked over HD DVD.

Am I the only one that read this and said, "Damn, I should crack open a beer"? Now, if only I hadn't just arrived to work...

Help!
That is their standard response to any Bluray points/news... "doesn't matter..."

I don't know too many of us adults that don't want Pixar's stuff and I'd take Mighty Joe Young from Touchstone any day.

don't forget they own espn, so any of those EoE movies or series will be blu-ray exclusive too.

I assume that means 2008.

Wow, June 2006 - Dec 2007: 300
2008: 300

That's impressive growth. And, unlike Universal, the overall quality seems to still be INCREASING .

By the years end, I read that as the end of 2007 not 2008. Am I wrong??
