Any details about this yet? I had to pack up my PS3 for 2 months while I am in the process of moving across the country. I would like to know what I'm missing out on!

I just downloaded it... Not sure what all the bells and whistles are yet. The update doesn't even show on Playstation.com yet. Still shows the latest update as 1.90....

Playstation.com usually takes a day or two to update the site.

I had to drag out the USB and controller for this one . . . annoying, I liked not having to do this for the last one.

This is not new, if you're controller is not 100% charge, it will ask you for USB...

...mines about 50% charge and I didnt need to plug into usb.

Being reported:

Apparent changes show that the ability to add Flash wallpapers has been added. People are also reporting faster XMB load times and XMB screensaver option.

Updates:

Word at NeoGaf says that the Internet Browser application has been substantially improved.

Cancel the screensaver option: It's always been there.

Miniclips (thumbnails) in the videos section, and game clips in the games folder all load up synchronized now. Quitting from game into XMB transitions quicker.(Aesthetic/Efficiency Update)

Confirmed: PS1/PS2 Compatibility updated.

Still awaiting official changelog from Sony

I did the update but now the browser returns a network error. Same with the Playstation store. Strangely, I can sign into PSN okay. Networked games and my media server are still working. I switched to the wireless connection...same thing. It's almost like a DNS error or something but all my other connected machines are working just fine. Anyone else?

Suggestions are appreciated. I guess the browser is no big deal for the time being but I can't buy Warhawk from the store!
