hmm... is your wireless password protected? if so, use the WEP option and key in the code - usually 13 or 26 characters long. once saved, your psp should pick up the ip address! if its not password protected select none and the ip address should be obtained... let us know if that works!

tried both ways but it won't recognize it. I can acess my ps3 hard drive when I use a usb cable and unplug it but as soon as I quit I have to plug it in with the usb cable again.

I ended up having to assign an IP address to every device on my network because every time I'd turn my PS3 on... it would try to use an IP address that was already in use and crash my whole network. Try assigning it a specific IP address.

I have a wireless gateway device from AT&T U-verse that just will not allow my PSP to grab an IP address, so I have to have another router daisy-chained to the gateway in WAP mode for it to work, which it does flawlessly.

getting really frusterated. I just can't get connected, it keeps saying that it times out when trying to find an ip or when trying to exchange information. I tried manually entering the ip adress that I got from my computer. Can anyone try to walk me through this?? thanks

ok I just hooked up my d-link (wireless router) to my bell (wireless router). Now the psp is able to get online but the internet is unuseable it is so slow. Do you guys think this set-up will work for now?? I guess the ps3 will run off of the bell router and the psp off the d-link router.

ok guys, i can connect my psp, I can get onto remote play when my ps3 is turned on and I have to manually go over and click remote play on my ps3 while it's connected to a usb cable. Now how do I set it up so that I can be out somewhere with my ps3 in standby and than access it via my psp??

Its under the Remote Play settings on your PS3, just enable your PSP to 'Start Up' your PS3. Just be sure once you are done you don't just disconnect, but use the XMB in your PS3 to Shut Off.
