How do I fix my controls? - Blu-ray Forum

I have the original controls from my PS3. The game I mostly play is NHL 09. But now my left knobs stick to whichever direction I push the knobs to. If you play NHL 09, you'll know that having that happen is a big problem. Any ideas on how to lube or cleanse the knobs' parts?

take ur controller. put it down in the kitchen dispenser, go to your local retail store and purchase a new one. There ya go.

You could take it apart and clean it or whatever. Something must be causing it to stay stuck.

You'll need a precision instrument to fix it properly.

Seriously, though, I would try cleaning around the base of the control knobs with a Q-tip and some alcohol. While it's wet with the alcohol move it around in all directions and see if you can work some of the funk out of it. If that doesn't work, I might try to take it apart. Depending on how much of a pain that is, I would probably just buy a new one.

yeah, i'm buying new ones when NHL 10 comes out. i'll try the alcohol for now...
