Default Game Controls

While it may seem trite to the some members of the PS3 community, those of us that have supported video games from way back feel that we are not being taken into account. The controls of the games are at times too intricate. I just bought and played the new Need For Speed game and there was no way to control the vehicles from the D Pad. Now with all the technology packed into current games, it should be easy to allow old school controls for current games. Joy stick controls should be optinonal for all or most games, especially driving games! I am in the over forty market and have supported this industry for over 25 years, and I feel that being able to be able to control games in this manner should not be a luxury. For the industry to shun this segment of the market is unfair and it should be noted that it WILL show a decrease in sales from our segment. We are a huge buying block and to neglect our demo will result in a negative trend in dollars and sense! We spend the big bucks for ourselves and our NEXT-GEN offspring and if you sleep on that fact it will be a loss for all involved. Is it too much to ask to be able to drive/control these big bucks systems and games? I think not. I just spent $60.00 for a game I don't even like now. Time and money will reflect the attitudes of our core segment. Don't sleep on us......
