How do I stream my iTunes music to my PS3?

I don't think you can since Itunes uses MP4 format.

Doesn't the PS3 play MP4? Also, some files are MP3 and a few other formats.

Use the PS3 Media Server! Works a treat

Add the folder where you have you iTunes music and you can stream that!

When I search for Media Servers, it says none were found.

Have you downloaded the PS3 Media Server to your laptop/pc?

Click here for it if you havent

Then once it is installed, you add the folders where your music is. Then search for media server on your PS3!

Thats what I use as well and works like a charm! Be sure that you have already upgraded all your iTunes songs to iTunes+ or else they won't be DRM free and may not transfer.

Good point. I only recently started using iTunes properly so I didn’t have that many that needed upgrading.. Thankfully! But all new downloads work perfectly.

It costed around $70 for me to upgrade my library.

Actually, come to think of it, I didn’t upgrade any of my songs!! I had a very small collection, but after my hard drive crashed, I requested iTune to make my songs available to download again (for free). They did! Maybe the new downloads were DRM free? I must check if those songs stream properly. If they do, that is one way around paying to upgrade your library! They said they would only do it for me ONCE, and I wouldn’t be able to request such a favour a second time. Still, it was good of them to do it!

I've tried that one, but the PS3 Media Server is far more reliable. From my experience anyway.

i just installed it on my mac. this is awesome, i have been looking for this for a while now. it make me feel all gitty. no more having to rip a cd just play it on the ps3

Just downloaded this and will install it later today. Is there a user guide or anything available for download on the operation of the program or is it just that simple to operate?
