Default blu ray internet connection, help please

hi guys i have a sony s350 connected to my laptop via ethernet cable, then made a birdge on my laptop so i can access my modem wielessly.
ip 192.
subnet 255.
gateway 192.
dns primary 192.

but when i do network diagnostic on player it says dns server not responding.
any ideas

Im not an expert so I may be talking out of my ass, but I dont think you can network a BDP.

Yea, the network port on the back of a standalone blu-ray player is not for networking. It allows the player to access the internet for BD-Live features and firmware updates, nothing more. You cannot network the player and use it to transfer video to the computer.
