Default Region A Blu Ray DVD won't play on my new player?

I got a USB Slim External Blu-ray Drive yesterday from "Brainydeal" at Amazon.Com. It can be seen at:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0027SM0IS/ref=ox_ya_oh_product

Today I tried to play: ''QUANTUM OF SOLACE",which is a "REGION A" Blu Ray DVD (MGM) that I rented from Blockbuster.

I am trying to play it using a newly installed copy of COREL WINDVD 9 PLUS Blu-Ray. I have Downloaded all updates, to incl the last one just made available this month.

All I got was a big RED Message that says:

" THIS DISK HAS BEEN CODED FOR REGION A ONLY AND WILL NOT PLAY ON THIS MACHINE. PLEASE EJECT THIS DISC AND PLAY IT ON A REGION A PLAYER"

I tried to find some software on the Inet to download to correct this problem but the HP UJ-120 DVD player has a "Hard Wired" Region Code ( obviously NOT Region A) built into it and apparently cannot be overidden by Region restriction removing software.

So, what can be done at this point.....I like the player and it is perfect for my needs, but it is of no use to me if I can't play Region A Blu Ray DVDs on it, as that is the region for the USA!!

I would rather not return the unit.....let me know the "fix" for this issue?

Default Region problem resolved on Blu-Ray DVD Player

I have good news!

I was able to resolve this issue of the incorrect Region Code.

I found a setting on the CORAL WINDVD 9 + Blu-Ray software that allows you to set the correct code for your location.

Once I set the code for Region "A", the Blu-Ray DVD played just fine on my new player!
