Default Which director do you own the most of?

Simple question: out of all of your Blus, most movies are by which director?

To the best of my knowledge, mine is Kubrick. I own Full Metal Jacket, 2001, Dr. Strangelove, and one of my all-time favorites, A Clockwork Orange.

I only have 60some movies in my collection, so I'm sure those with 200+ will be sure to have some serious overlap in directors.

For DVD: 27 Spielberg DVDs (plus Close Encounters on Blu; multiples for JP1 & 2 at the moment tho).

For blus... I dunno really, if I include HD DVD its probably Kubrick here too.

On BD right now I don't have a specific director in the lead for his movies (I should say her also)

On DVD well I would say that the directors I got the most movies from are Akira Korusawa, Spielberg, Lucas & Sergei Eisenstein

After a quick scan I'd say Tarantino. Kill Bill 1 and 2, Death Proof, Reservoir Dogs plus a 'guest director' on Sin City. Just edges out Michael Bay who I believe directed 4 of my Blu (The Rock, The Island, Pearl Harbour and Transformers) and the Wachowski Brothers (Matrix trilogy and Speed Racer). Plus others on 3 and 2.

6 each for Stanley Kubrick and Clint Eastwood, and 5 for Francis Ford Coppola. I do love those directors, don't get me wrong, but I have a feeling the leaders of the pack would be slightly different if more movies were available on Blu-ray. Pretty sure David Cronenberg would be right at the top.

Producer would be Bruckheimer or Apatow, not sure which one.

That's like asking how many movies to do you own! But if we're talking blus only:

Kubrick: x6 FTW!!

Eyes Wide Shut
The Shining
Clockwork Orange
Full Metal Jacket
2001
Dr. Strangelove

Clint Eastwood: x4

Gran Torino
Flags of Our Fathers
Letter from Iwo Jima
Million Dollar Baby

Ridley Scott: x5

Black Hawk Down
Blade Runner
Body of Lies
Gladiator (Soon)
Kingdom of Heaven

Edit: Surprisingly! I actually have 5 Edward Zwick movies. Not necessarily anybody's favorite director but seems to make the right movies.

For producer it'd definitely be Apatow for sure, I enjoy his juvenile humor. I've never cared much about specific directors so I'm not sure. I've got Nolan's 4 Blus that are available. I've also got 4 Scorsese movies. I've got 3 Rob Zombie movies. It seems like most of the big director's don't have a lot of movies on Blu-ray so there really isn't a lot from any director.

On DVD, I've got every movie Spielberg's directed beginning with Duel, and have Close Encounters and Indy 4 on BD.

Scorsese follows that with 14 on DVD and BD.
