Who here loves the movie "Out of Sight"? - Blu-ray Forum

I absolutely LOVE this movie. The actors/actresses are all brilliant in this, and it's one of the few Jennifer Lopez films that generally gets good marks for her role.

I think her and George Clooney have GREAT chemistry in this. The supporting cast (Ving Rhames, Don Cheadle, Steve Zahn, Luis Guzman, Albert Brooks, Isaiah Washington, Catherine Keener, Dennis Farina and others) are all top notch.

The music score by David Holmes is one of the best I've heard from him (he also did the Oceans soundtracks).

The Movie has Comedy, Drama, Action and Romance in it.

What's not to like? What's the deal?

Why is it that whenever I share this with someone they (9 times out of 10) have never seen it?

It has a 92% Positive rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Seriously. If you haven't seen it. WATCH IT! I wish it would come out on Bluray already. :-(

I've been wondering why Universal hasn't released this on blu yet.
The PQ on the HD DVD was apparently very good.

Just pulled out my "Collector's Edition" of the DVD and went through the extras. Shocked I hadn't watched it before. Very funny stuff with Clooney and Cheadle.

I can only imagine how great a commentary with the main cast would be. I haven't heard the one with Soderbergh and the producer yet.

I too enjoyed this movie. I think I got the DVD for a good price years ago and loved the movie. Don't know that I would buy the Bluray, only because it isn't a movie I re-watch.

It was a good film. The plot was engaging and I couldn't keep my eyes of J-Lo.

my favorite tidbit about this movie was actually talked about on the Jackie Brown DVD extras.

Michael Keaton plays the exact same character (FBI agent Ray Nicolette) in both films. And the producers or whatever of Out of Sight contacted The Weinstein company about borrowing Keaton for a couple scenes, and the Weinsteins were talking about how much they should get for loaning him out, and Tarantino was like "what? Are you kidding? Let him go."

Thought that was a classy move by QT.

I love this movie too. It is one of my all-time favorites. I remember wearing out my first VHS copy way back in the day because I watched it too much.

I have been waiting on Universal to release this on Blu-Ray too. I would buy it in a heartbeat.
