Default noise reduction setting

do u have it off or on?


is there a difference. As i dont understand this setting.

For a television? Best to leave it off, as it is an attempt to "smooth" the picture - you lose contrast. Try it both ways, but you won't need it with Blu-Ray, and probably don't need it for broadcast TV, either.

I've toggled all of the settings on my set with blu-ray and satellite feed...the noise reduction did nothing on both, so it's off.

I think the recommendation about 99% of the time is to leave it off.
