Default Problem With Sound for Cable Box...help?

Just hooked everything up for myself and sound comes out of my gaming systems but not the cable box.

SETUP: PS3, Wii, X360, LNxxB650, Sony Reciever, TW Cable Box
PS3 <HDMI> TV
Wii <Component> TV
360 <HDMI> TV
Cable Box <HDMI> TV
Reciever <Optical> TV

I have these R/W wires and R/G/B wires that I'm not using. Any ideas?

I think you need to set your cable box to send your audio out via HDMI, or if your cable box has an optical or digital coax (usually orange or black) connect that to your receiver and set your cable box for dolby digital and you'll get sound from your receiver and in 5.1 when available. the r/w are stereo rca jacks, the r/g/b are component HD video.

of course, if your receiver has another HDMI in, then connect your cable box to it and set it to audio out via HDMI.

hope this helps, best of luck. it would also help others with a little more info on your stuff!
