Watched 11, great movie, excellent transfer, even if 12 and 13 aren’t as good still glad I got trilogy.

It’s riddled with DNR so very smooth and waxy, but the colors and blown highlights are what is really throwing me off. It’s unfortunate they couldn’t have offered consistent quality for all 3 films as 11 and 12 do look really great and are upgrades from the original Blu Ray in every possible way.
13 probably had an existing DI they used, I guess? Makes sense.

Yes, it was finished out to 4K.

If two of the three are entertaining enough, I'll be happy.
Twelve is definitely the odd man out. It's kind of maddening in its scattershot quality but there's still plenty of fun to be had, probably more so on a second viewing. But if we're talking pure entertainment value (and leaving transfer talk aside), Thirteen is off the charts. You can't really beat Eleven for its classic "heist flick" execution but Thirteen is practically wall-to-wall laughs, gags and upping the ante on the old "How are they ever gonna pull THIS off?" premise. It almost has a M:I vibe in how well-oiled it is; Soderbergh and co. really had it down to a fine science and it handily erases any lingering ill will from Twelve. I also find it the most hilarious of the trilogy. But all three offer supreme entertainment value. For a Warners set, a steal as far as I'm concerned.

Watched 12 and this is really embarrassing…I’ve never seen this before. I liked it and the transfer looked fine to me. How did I not see this after all these years? Maybe the bad reviews scared me away. CZJ was sure hot!!!

I was thrown the first time I saw it because it's more of a guys hanging out movie than a heist movie. I've come around on it because it's not a bad hangout movie.

Recieved my copy of the Trilogy from Amazon today. Came with a slip cover in good condition. But then I pull it off to find a case with no shrink wrap and all the discs loose inside. I can’t tell if it was a returned item or just missing shrink wrap by mistake. The digital code hasn’t been used from what I can tell.

Mine had a crushed slipcover and 11 and 12 were both floaters, but mercifully they seem unscratched. I hate this packaging, with disc hubs that aren't tight and don't lock fully.

I’m getting a replacement from Amazon.

Yep. It's like hanging out with your friends if you and your friends were known all over the world and took nearly 4th wall breaking shots at each other. The heists are clever as well, when they could have been given much less attention considering the star power. I enjoy the heck out of 'em, personally.

I'll probably do the same. At over $60 for the set, I don't want to run the risk of micro-scratches that I can't see, but which might affect playback. UHDs are so delicate, unlike BDs. I've had 10x the problems with UHDs in five years that I've ever had with BDs in almost 20 years, not exaggerating.

My Oceans 11 Steelbook arrived today. Cannot wait to finally watch this after the delay it took to get to me.

For those of you who can’t abide the price of the Steelbook and/or are waiting on a more practical case and are getting impatient, Australia had a 4K release this week of the three films on 4K. The discs come in an Aussie standard 15mm wide UHD case, with a hub for each disc (the standard hub and a two-sided flipper disc holder)

Here is a link to JB HiFi (the last bastion for physical media in Australia). Not sure what kind of exporters they are, but I am pretty sure they sell overseas, if one is looking to import.
