Default How much will you pay for a new Blu-ray??

I just bought the most expensive blu-ray Ive ever had. I paid $39 shipped for a copy of "Dark Reel". What was I thinking? Usually I dont like to spend more then $30 for a new release and thats new, first day release. For catalog titles I dont spend more then $20. Im still in shock at what I paid. Its so unlike me.

Am I the only one whos cheap? Im sure some out there dont mind shelling out $34.95 at Best Buy for a new blu, but for me, not in this lifetime.

All blus, execept box sets and series, should be $19.95.

On a rare occasion i will spend $24.95 on a movie. I prefer to buy sub $20.

Don't worry you're not the only one. I'm a cheap bastard too. For newer titles I won't pay more than $20. For catalog titles, no more than $15

I usually wait until they drop below $20. Below $15 is even better. I refuse to buy from Best Buy, when you can buy online cheaper( free shipping/no sales tax ). The wait for shipping time is worth the savings.

Depends on the movie...

I've spent at the low range $4.80 all the way up to $37. If its a movie I want and the price has not dropped in months then I'll jump on it. On that same note, if its a rare import then I'll also pick it up.

the cheaper the better of course

but I would pay up to $25 for a new one because I am back in school and I am not in a hurry to see a new blu-ray.

The ONLY reason I ever go to BB is because of certain sales, other than that I never go there. Their prices are ridiculous.

I bought Equilibrium from YesAsia.com for a whopping $52.00 shipped.

I wouldn't mind paying $19.99 for new releases. Less than that would be a bonus!

Unless it's a must have title, usually no more than $15 for catalog and $25 for a new release. And with many newer titles being much cheaper a few weeks after their release, I can usually wait and get those for $20.

I always try to get the lowest price possible. I try stay within the $15-$20.00 price range. I even started buying from Amazon 3rd party sellers and have gotten some good blus for a fraction of their original price. If I pay over $30.00 for blus, then its usually for a set.

For new releases, I try to stay at about $25-27. For catalog titles, unless it's one of my absolute all-time favorites, I won't spend over $20. The most I've ever spent on a Blu-Ray is $30 (not counting TV seasons).

For most movies my cutoff price is $20. There's no reason for a new release to cost more than that anyway. On occasion, for titles I want really bad, I've been known to pay up to about $25 for a movie on its release date, but that's not very often.

It really depends upon the movie.

If it is not something I "need" to have right away then keep it under $20.00.

If it is a film I really want "now" then I am willing to pay up to $40.00.

If I want it I buy it. I do try to use coupons or get them on sale,pm or find the cheapest store. If I want it though I will pay full price if It is a favorite.

$15 and under for all single titles....I didn't use to be that way...but for a few months now with patience and Gift Cards, I have been able to do it for awhile now and don't plan on changing.
