Be very very wary. I have the UK version and it is mastered as a Madman title (the Madman logo, Madman "Only In Australia and NZ") and the subtitles are utter crap. The worst I have seen, even worse than a HK boot. They weren't smart enough to just use the DVD subtitles. That would have been too easy. They had to figure how to wreck it.

Any news on the australian release on GitS - Innocence? Especially if they used better subtitles?

Madman did the work on the UK disc,(they're credited on the disc), I expect this to mirror it.

Who'd be game to but it to check.

But I heard that the Manga UK DVD had the same bad subtitles - but the Aus Madman release had proper subtitles. So possibly it is OK.
