Default Need help with Panasonic BMP-BD30 Hook Up

Here's hoping someone out there will have an answer for this problem. BTW I am a novice who has been banging my head try to make this work.

Here are the components in the system I am trying to link together:

Bose Acoustimass 10 III speaker system
Panasonic TH-50PZ700U
Yamaha HTR-5250 AV receiver
Direct TV Receiver HR20-700

I want to be able to play my Blu Ray and TV through the receiver if possible. This receiver has no HDMI in or output. It is about 7 to 8 years old but lightly used. I am trying to make it all come together. Am I attempting the impossible or can you save me from having to bu a new receiver?

I believe I have all the cables. I am located in the US if that matters.

The easiest way is to just run optical cables from your panasonic and your dvr straight to the reciever and your done. If you want lossless sound you'll have to either buy a new receiver or buy a blu-ray player with analog outputs. hope that helps
