Is there any news about Dead Silence coming to blu - Blu-ray Forum

Me and my 4 sons have been patiently waiting for this movie to come to Blu.
Has anyone heard anything?

Jeff Kleist said something to the effect of Universal releasing their old HD DVD ports in line with specific tie-ins. So like Fast and the Furious came out with the new sequel. Dead Silence would likely come out along with something that involves the stars or director. Maybe Saw 6?

This film is also distributed by Alliance in Canada too, so it is possible we may see a Canadian disc some day. My old HD DVD looked pretty great btw.

ive been waiting aswell....i almost bought the HD DVD cus its a combo pack. it was 6 bucks at giant tiger, i ll wait till blu tho

This was released in the UK a while back and it is region free. Does anyone knows if this is the R rated or the unrated cut? Thinking about import it since I don't think Universal has any intentions on releasing this in the US.

I don't know the difference between the 2 but mine says a runtime of 1h 31mins if that helps... watched it once and from what I remember the pq/aq was pretty good
