I have to say that I'm excited to see on the news page here the Simpsons Movie will be coming out day and date on Blu-ray. While that joke post a while back about the 7 disc set would have been cool, it sounds like there are gonna be a few special features on the actual release which is good. I'm sure I won't be the only one headed out December 18th to pick this one up.

Just a note to the silly people who keep wondering if POTC3 & Spidey 3 combined will outsell HD-DVD's Bourne & Transformers.

Simpsons, while the Box Office may have been lower, is a bigger collectors item than either of those HD-DVDs and appeals highly to the PS3 audience. I guarantee that Simpsons will outsell Bourne easily... EASILY... and will push Transformers. While Transformers will have a big opening, it will fade quickly like all HD-DVD offerings while the Simpsons BD will sell well for months... compare the sales of each over their first month and 2-month periods as opposed to just looking at week #1.

this BD is prob only 1 of a very few (& I have over 200) that I will be taking a look at the EXTRA'S cause the simpsons are ICONIC. I came up whatching the show all throught the years ,as many of us on here prob did.
