Default Half Minute Hero

Anyone have it? I hear good things and am disappointed such a unique RPG is going unnoticed. Can someone give me some thoughts? Thanks.

There is a demo of it available to download off the store.

I personally didn't understand the game at all and just kept running out of time before I could do anything signficant.

I bought it and think it's pretty cool so far. Kinda funny and nostalgic.

Hero 30: Awesome, for the length of the demo at least. Makes fun of typical RPG conventions cutting many of them down to little or no user input so you focus entirely on working out a successful flow for beating each mini-RPG.

Evil (Lord?) 30: Didn't enjoy it nearly as much.

There's demos already for both of these and GiantBomb.com has a good 'quicklook' video for the 6-8 game modes included, all very different but not necessarily great fun.

I've only played the Hero mode, and I kind of got tired of it after a while. It's funny or amusing at first, but the joke gets old, and then the game just seems awfully repetitive and annoying. I don't enjoy feeling rushed all the time, and accomplishing things in 30 seconds makes them seem insignificant.

I think this game would've been an instant classic as a flash game on a website, but stretching it into a lengthy PSP game for $30 seems a bit much.

The music is great though.

Thanks for the honest answers guys. I think I'll still give it a shot as it looks appealing to me and I'm a fan of any RPG that 'harkens' back to the old days!
