Default Question regarding transfering save games

I've had the weirdest thing happen to me after I transfered my save games from my old PS3 to my new one:

I was half-way through the trophies of X-Men Origins: Wolverine, transfered my save game to my new PS3 and logged in with my account. Trophies sync and still at 57% where it used to be.

First time I play the game, I unlock a trohpy I already had and when pausing the game and checking my trophies, it says 1% ... meaning trophies for this game were reset.

When I quit the game though and then check my progress, it shows the 57% again.

Any idea what the problem is? I'm afraid to sync my trophies because I don't want to lose my progress.

Also, when I go back to my old PS3, I can just keep playing the game and I don't have the aforementioned problem ...

Did you start a new save file when you started playing it again or were you loading your pre-exsisting one?

I had the same thing happen to me in a couple games when I got my PS3 Slim. As long as the server knows about the trophies, they'll sync up OK.

Just play games like you normally would, and they'll eventually all sync up after a play or two to unstick ones that seem stubborn.

Phew, thanks for confirming this. So I can just transfer all my save games and play my games on my new PS3? For example, the dog tags I've collected so far will still count, right?

EDIT: seems to work now, thanks!

Yes, I had something similar happen to me on inFamous. Any game which you've picked up trophies on, just stick it in and play it for a while and the trophies "should" sync up if they haven't already the moment you earn any trophy.
