This is a possible blind buy purchase for me. I didn't see it in the theater, but I do want to see it. It'll be a rental at the very least. It looks enjoyable if you like this kind of a movie.

Whip It gets a weird green case? Hmmmm...yes it does and to be honest it doesn't suit it. I could totally understand "The Incredible Hulk" getting one but Whip It?

If that is indeed the actual case, I don't like it much. Not because it's green, because I get that they did that to match her uniform, but they didn't really need to list so much of the cast. Not a big deal in the end though because I'm buying it regardless.

Yes, that seems to be official BD cover.

I understand about the green matching her uniform and all, but its really not something in big need of a Green Blu-ray cover. I find it unnecessary.

Was this film any good? All the Drew Barrymore kissing Ellen Page was all the publicity I heard and that it was Barrymore's first film directing. Any good?

Yes it was. It's witty characters and it's lively story make it a very good film. Not to mention that Barrymore really knows how to manage direction.

It got pretty good reviews when it came out in the theater, but it really comes down to if you think you'll like this kind of a movie. If so, then I would say yes, although this is going to be a blind buy for me as well.

I'm torn. I said no more blind buys and now I'm wrestling with the "why?" of it all.

Some of my favorite movies EVER were blind buys. Still...this one is expensive at the moment. I love all the players though and my cousin is a Jersey Shore Rollergirl, so I kinda have to get it.

Screw it...I'm getting it.

Crisis averted...moving on.

Edit: Oh wait!!! The price went down!!! Woo Hoo!!!

I loved this movie too! Will definitely buy it (hoping the price comes down some), but not sure I'd recommend it as a blind buy computergeek. Unless you're a big fan of Ellen Page or Drew Barrymore (it's her directorial debut but she has a small part in the film). It's a "girl-power" coming of age type story, so if that's not really your thing, probably rent first.
