Default Your comedy movie wish lists

hey,

what would be your Comedy Movie Wish Lists to see on BD? I definitely want Me, Myself and Irene. It is Jim Carrey's at his best. I also want to see Police Academy 1 to 7. I grew up watching Police Academy. many memories are attached to it.

what about you guys?

In addition to what you mentioned, I would love to see Fox release Idiocracy on BD. That's one of my favorites.

It's worth a rent if you haven't seen it. It's from Mike Judge, so if you can appreciate Beavis & Butthead you should love this. The scary thing is I think this movie has the most realistic depiction of the future of the human race. Heheh

I prefer comedies from 80's...Richard Pryor and Gene Willder did a couple, Stir Crazy and another one I can't remember the name....See no Evil?. perhaps?

Also Cheech and Chong movies would be welcomed by my wallet.

Can't speculate on what the PQ/AQ of these type of tranfers would be, but that would not stop me from buying them if they did for some reason make it to Blu.

Speaking of Mike Judge I'm surprised no one has mentioned Office Space yet. Also Dogma and the original Clerks, Empire Records, The Goonies, PCU. "Is that the band with the guy from the Clash? There was music made before 1989, Gutter what is this? You're going to wear the shirt of the band you're going to see toinight? Don't be that guy."

What sucks is that most of my favorite comedies are hddvd exclusive. Dreamworks makes alot of them. The Stiller/Will Ferell/Carell/Sandler type of comedies.

Not yet. I grew up on these re-runs playing on Saturday afternoons as a kid and these old comedys (and horror movies) are a real treat. I mention them here as I beleive all of the more current titles will be released, but not the old classic material from the 30s and 40's. I can only hope. Completely timeless and fun for all ages.
