bluetooth compatibility - Blu-ray Forum

Is the ps3 compatible with anyone bluetooth device or only certain ones? If only certain ones, which ones are? I own the Samsung WEP200 set (http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-WEP200-Bluetooth-Headset-Packaging/dp/B000GAO9T2/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/105-1256595-6075668?ie=UTF8&s=wireless&qid=1191516616&sr=8-1) and the ps3 doesn't seem to read it after trying to connect a few times. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance...

Are you making sure your bluetooth is in conect mode when you start the PS3 to find it? I have a $40 cheapo from Jabra and it works awesome. I can be outside smoking between games and still talk.

hopefully i'm just not doing it right and it's not that the piece isn't compatible...will try again when i get home from work and keep you updated...thanks for the the glimmer or hope...

no problem. Make sure its shut off to your cel phone if you have it set up that way also. It will work im sure, you just need to find what part is messing it up.

I got a new Motorola S9 Stereo headset and it attached right to the PS3, so it supports a pretty wide rage of devices.

I have not heard of a bluetooth headset that is not compatible.. some that have weak battery time, or static, but that is more cheap headset than really PS3 fault, and they still work..
