Currently this film, coming out nov 27, 2007, is only coming out on DVD i was just wondering what the odds are that the film will be released on blu anytime soon.

It's new episodes of Futurama ( edited together to make a movie, they will then be split up and shown on Cartoon Network in 2008) and no, it is not coming out on BR.

This is the type of movie that you would probably see once blu-ray is the main format like dvd is now.

Yes, the Futurama movie is coming straight to DVD (4parts)... no theaters

Ugh...Bender is my least favorite character. He was fine for a while...but then just became annoying (and they started focusing too many episodes on him). Hopefully the other "straight to dvd" movies will have other topics :P

I'll still probably end up buying this one as well though.

Looking at the trailer, it didn't look like the movie was focused only on Bender. Who cares what the title is?

I may be wrong, but Fox are not doing any more TV on Blu-ray, because they are bastards.
