Default PS3 soon to excel other systems' graphics?

looks like it with games coming up ahead soon...Call of Duty 4,Unreal Tournament III

im 100% glad it is,i hate people who say we nag about "crapy ports" from other game systems like ones from 360

i have both systems, but i find it BS that game developers go weak sauce on us and just slap us hands me downs not waiting to really use the new Cell microprocessors....to its full uses!

whats really sad for some games they do,you could boot up a dreamcast and find that its graphics pass there Sh!^^y ports they make on our ps3s

im mainly use my ps3 for movies and hours on end of resistance fall of man

one of the best shooter yet on ps3 and uses the 25gb Blu-ray disk only using 16GB of it for gaming...that'd be DVD-9's and DVD-9s for other gaming platforms..

sony keep doing there thing!!!....us the users will dish out bucks if the game isnt rushed/leaving the rest in the rust...heh.

I hope more developers give the PS3 an even playing field, but then again would it really be even. The people who feel the PS3 isn't worth will be the people who love it next year. In due time people, in due time!

Publishers usually code a game to run on the most popular system. Right now its the 360. Just like the original X-box was getting so-so looking ports from the inferior PS2 which was more popular. But as PS3 places itself in more and more homes you can be sure the publishers/developers will code the PS3 version 1st.

This is exactly what a big wig at EA said when asked about the games on the PS3. He said that because the 360 is popular right now that is why they get a better game and we get shit. So as the user base of the PS3 starts to gain steam then we will see the games get better.

The PS3 and 360 are in a class of their own as far as next gen goes. But for now we are living in a Wii world. As long as we dont get Wii ports. lol.

Once the PS3 drops a bit more in price, I think some of the masses that own PS2's that want a PS3 will hop on board. I love my PS3 and I am sick of my 360 for the simple fact of the hardware reliability. I myself am on my 3rd 360 and most of the people I know have had problems of some sort if they want to admit it or not.

We need a larger library of games for our beloved PS3 and I think we will be well on our way. I just hope we don't lose anymore games. Losing Monster Hunter 3 to Wii kinda hurt. Although I dont think I would have really brougt the game.

You will start to see games from Japanese developers start to look better on the PS3 before the American developers since PS3 has more dominance in Japan than the 360. Just you wait until GT5.

unfortunetly the bad ports will continue for a while. I remember the same thing with PS2 except it was everyone saying "when we port it to Xbox there is just so much more potential and power" now that MS managed to get out the door first (while sacrificing quality) everyone is struggling to learn the PS3 because it's not built off PC parts like the 360, while they sit back and have an easy time with 360 because most of whats in it is old tech. Though in the long run developers will be able to get so much more out of PS3 then any of the others, Sony just needs to get it's marketing act together (every game ad on TV has the 360 logo only even if it's multi platform). This is going to be a long battle and honestly it's far from over. The PS2 is the dominant platform on the market right now and if sony can get that installed base as repeat customers then it's over.

funny thing is that they still make ps2 games.
Japanese developers of anything put there time and money in things.
well i seen movie views of the coming up release of Final Fantasy for PS3,damn nice!

it was like viewing "Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within" with more life-like back round and real person talking and looking in-play game

hardware reliability of the 360 sucks, they are shipping out "some" new 360's with an improved chip to help cut the heat by half and noise down
reliability of it right now sucks, you could leave you ps3 booted on for a day on folding@home...try that with a 360..it'll shut its self down in afew hours of heat....not our problem, its costing microsoft billions...
