will soundbar work with projector or only TV?

when I am reading up on soundbars they keep talking about how it will wokr great with your 'tv' but I want one to use with a projector. Would there be any issue using a soundbar with projector?

Interesting question if you are referring to front projection on a wall-mounted or hanging screen. Most people going with a front projection theater setup are not going to go with a soundbar for the audio. Yours is an interesting case, indeed.

If you are able to mount the soundbar or set it on a stand, I'm sure it would work satisfactorily.

The only issue I suspect, if it matters to you, as that the small width of the soundbar, in relation to your projection screen width, may cause the audio to sound more "localized" rather than take on a nice, "screen-sized" stereoscopic feel, giving proper "placement" of the audio to your picture.

Just out of curiosity, why are you thinking of going with a soundbar for this setup?

I would agree with Rob . I'm sure it will work . But A 7 or 8 foot wide screen & A sound bar that is 2 or 3 feet wide probably would not sound good for that size screen .
