Default November 6 a "bad" BD release week?

was just looking ahead at releases and the Nov 6th ones are pretty terrible, first week in along time i won't be picking up anything. If blu wants to win release the movies everyone is begging for please, and not that garbage.

Just goes to show that people have different tastes really. What is a bad week for one person is a great week for others. I'll be getting 4 BRDs on the 6th. Thats a big week for me.

You might think that but

Cars
Ratatouille among others will do very well that week.

I agree....

Cars
Ratatouille
Pixar Vol 1
Oldboy
Aviator
beowulf and grendel
Bridge Too Far Battle of Britain
some more of the warner best of 4 packs

I have a 2 year old so Cars is my #1 must have - along with Ratatouille, Pixar Collection and Aviator.

Default Hardly a bad week

You have 3 Pixar films and 2 of the better WW2 movies.

Oldboy and The Aviator are excellent movies as well. I'm glad I never actually got The Aviator on DVD. Now is my chance to pick it up in the best presentation possible.

I'm definitely picking up Ratatouille, Cars, and the Pixar Shorts...I'm also picking up Beowulf & Grendel and possibly Oldboy. I might pick the Battle of Brittain as a good many in my family like older movies. So, that's four to six for me that week (at least).

This has got to be a joke thread.

I am going to be so broke on 11/6 In fact starting next week, Blu-ray is going to move into the 80/20 range for the next 4 to 6 weeks at least. And January is shaping up to be terrific as well (especially because of 3:10 to Yuma )

Granted - the reason i saw Cars among other animated movies is because i have a 2 year old who loves anything with wheels. But Cars is a great movie-no matter how many times we've watched it - its always enjoyable- one of my fav. disney movies. I'm lucky my son is fascinated with movies that i find enjoyable as well - he goes crazy over Surf's up right now.

I'm not crazy about Leo as an actor, but I thought he did a great job portraiting Howard Hughes in this one. And lets not forget about Scorsese, I absolutely love his films.
