Bloodsport ... when will we see it released? - Blu-ray Forum

I just stopped by the local Walmart and I was wondering why Jeanne Claude Van Damme's ultimate 'fight' movie hasn't been released yet.

Lionsgate has already released Kickboxer yet Bloodsport is well known as a fan-favourite among JCVD fans as well as fight fans. Bloodsport tells the story of how Frank Dux won the Kumite and became the first Westerner to win at that event.

I'm about to sit down and watch Kickboxer and I hope that someone hurries up and releases Bloodsport soon.

Who knows when. It's a Warner title and is considered a cult hit. I'm betting we'll see it around the time of an anniverary of the movie... I think I spelled anniversay right

Good question! I saw Blood Sport when It first came out and was blown away by the film. I love this movie. I will pick it up when it comes out for a good price. I don't think it will be that great of a transfer. I think the whole movie was made for just one million bucks.

doubt warner will do right by it but at least release a decent blu

I would definately buy it.

If they are going to release his catalog, they should have released Bloodsport and The Quest before Replicant and Maximum Risk.

We need more Van Damme movies on Blu!

I'd definitely buy Bloodsport, Lionheart, No Retreat No Surrender, Kickboxer (full uncut) and Double Team.
