** Is THE GATE ever coming out on blu? ** - Blu-ray Forum

Recently, Lionsgate released THE GATE onto dvd about the same time they released MONSTER SQUAD and NIGHT OF THE CREEPS on dvd and blu-ray.

Problem is, THE GATE only came out on dvd... no blu.

Soooo.... how would any of you feel about creating a petition to Lionsgate to get them to put their special edition dvd onto blu-ray?

i would be interested, i caught an hd broadcast back in october and it looked pretty nice. this should be in the wish list section though..

I think they did a dvd only release on purpose , so that they will release the blu ray, sometime around halloween.Then we will have to double dip.By the way, the night of the creeps was released by Sony, not Lionsgate.

Classic movie. I hate having to pass up on horror movies because they are only on DVD.

And whatever happened to Joe Dante's 3-D "The Hole", his "family-horror" movie that sounded.....awful darn familiar, from an 80's-survivor point of view?:

I'd buy "The Gate" on Blu-ray. And I agree that it will be released eventually, probably before too long given the recent dvd release.
