At one time I would've picked Mission Impossible but Bourne has grown on me over the years

It's close but I liked Mission Impossible 1 and 3 a lot and was very disappointed with MI2--

Bourne series-- loved the first one, wasn't very impressed with the next 2...

Mission wins by a hair...

I gotta say I'm surprised that it's a dead heat (6 to 6).

To me there's just no question: Bourne is good, MI is not.

I did like the MI series a lot at one time, though. That was before I saw Bourne, though.

I never really got in to Bourne, so I went with M:I though the 2nd one is bad.

Bourne. The only good MI is the first one.

I love both, but I got to go with Bourne because of his bad ass hand to hand combat

The star of MI2 is Cruise's hair... It's just a fun "John Woo" movie.

But I must say, MI3 was insanely awesome.

So there's an unbalance to the MI series, where as all three BOURNE's are very good, so both series' level out for me

Mission Impossibles have the prettier women and more ridiculous stunts but Bournes are the better films, for sure.

I've gotta go with Bourne. The M-i movies were pretty cool when I first saw them, but I was blown away by the Bourne films, and I can still re-watch them...

Stunts and/or theatrics aside....Damon is a much better actor than Cruise and his character portrayals are much more believeable.

Bourne by a long shot.

The "Bourne" series probably has the better, more realistic stories with greater character depth. "MI" has the greater entertainment value with its action scenes (and I honestly thought that MI:II has a decent love story while MI:III has the best characterizations). I voted on the latter ("Bourne" never really thrilled me, and I don't like its style).

But parts II and III were nothing like the show that it was based on.....

Never saw the show, so I didn't really notice. Ignorance is bliss.

Even though I liked the Mission Impossible movies, I'd have to go with Bourne easily. That is one of my favorite trilogies of all time.
