Default A question for all Australian TV watchers out there.

Why does channel 7 decide to put non-hi def content on their Hi Def channel when they are showing shows shot in Hi def on the standard digital channel.

Example, 7 will broadcast season 10 of Stargate sg1 on their standard digital channel and show at the same time a movie from the 1980’s on the high def channel????? This is not only confusing but infuriating, it really p*****s me off. Does anyone else find this annoying??

This, along with MANY other reasons, is why I hate TV (Australian TV is terrible, some 13-16 minutes of adds per hour. What a waste of my life). If any show is worth watching, it will come out on a physical medium without adds and whn I want to watch it. And I am patient enough to wait. If it's coming out on blu-ray, then especially so.

Ten are doing a big HD campaign in Melbourne. I hate the adds so much it's normally the off switch if the ABC (Australian Broadcasting Corporation) doesn't have anything good on.
