Default Australian question

Okay, obviously off Blu-ray topic but I guess thats why we have the Off Topic forum

I have a question for any and everyone from Australia, I am wanting to move/immagrate to Australia....How difficult is it? Do I have to have a special skill or are there any requirements?

Any information would be awesome, alot of you here on the forum have become very close friends of mine and I vaule any info and input you could provide.

Thank you!

That would be awesome to live in Aussy world

I have several friends that live there that I could stay at their places if I ever did move there, but right now my bank account keeps telling me no to leaving the country right now

Back when I lived in Oz in the early 90’s I remember that it was extremely difficult to get in Australia legally. They only let a certain amout of people in a year and there were other requirements as well.

Maybe they have changed their rules since then. It would probably be easier to just illegally immigrate from Indonesia though.

Why do you want to go there?

I myself plan on going back/retiring there one day.

Well thats the whole reason Im trying to leave....with what looks like a complete collapse of the US economy and the risk of hyperinflation right around the corner, not to mention elected officials who have NO CLUE how economics work. Im looking for the exit asap. I hope the dollar recovers but its not looking good right now.

Europe seems like a good choice, or Australia. I like the idea of Australia and its a beautiful country.

Fly to Indonesia and then get in a leaky boat and set sail for Australia after all that's what the majority of the illegal asylum seekers have done.

Hate to say it but if the US economy fails the world economy will fail. That includes OZ

It’s one of the negatives of having a true global economy.

No question that the world economy will suffer, but it will eventually recover. The US will suffer far worse. Oz wont completely shut down and go into a police state as America would be complete chaos and very likely would become a police state...
